Introduction to the Bible // January 15 & 22

Join Rev. David Hockett for a 2-part series exploring the Bible, its writing, and interpretation on Wednesdays, January 15 and 22, at 5:30 p.m. in the Seymour Building. Bring your favorite Bible. DUMC Bowling League // January 19

Join the DUMC Adult Bowling League! Enjoy fun, fellowship, and friendly competition with handicaps included. The league meets at 6:15 p.m. every other Sunday evening at Spare Time in Huntersville. Primetimers // January 21

Join us for this month’s Primetimers with special guest Det. A.J. Heitmann from the Davidson Police Department, who will speak about cybersecurity fraud and other scams. Confirmation 2025 // Beginning January 26

Beginning January 26, Confirmation offers youth in 8th grade and older an opportunity to take a meaningful step in their faith journey. Through engaging sessions with clergy and mentors, participants will explore key theological topics like God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. At the conclusion, they’ll have the chance to join Davidson UMC as full members.

Questions Jesus Asked Sermon Series Discussion

We invite you to join Rev. David Hockett for a follow-up discussion of the churchwide book study, Questions Jesus Asked by Magrey deVega. Join us on Wednesdays, January 29 - February 26, at 5:45 p.m., upstairs in the multipurpose youth room of the Seymour Building.. Wednesday night dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall; no reservation is required for the discussion. Next Generation Ministry Sunday Morning Leader Luncheon and Training // February 23

Are you currently volunteering or interested in serving in our Children & Youth Ministries? Join us for a Leader Training & Luncheon on February 23 at 12:00 p.m. in the Youth Center as we focus on our 2025 ministry goals of Belong, Grow, Impact. This event will provide a refresher on ministry procedures, including our Safe Sanctuary annual training, and emphasize the importance of our Sunday morning opportunities with children, youth, and their families.

Chili cook off and BINGO FUN-raiser! // February 21

Calling all church and community members—men, women, youth, and the "young at heart"! The DUMC United Women in Faith are excited to host a church-wide Chili Cook-Off and Bingo fundraiser on Friday, February 21st, from 5:30–8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Enter your chili to win prizes (and bragging rights), or simply join us to enjoy delicious food, vote for your favorites, and play Bingo. There will be plenty of chances to win prizes during Bingo, so don’t miss out!
