A place for kids ages 3 - Grade 5 to have fun singing & sharing God's love while learning age-appropriate spiritual & musical concepts.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. (ends at 6:30 p.m. for Grades 2 - 5)
Ages 3 - 5, not yet in Kindergarten: The Cherub singing choir participates in worship at least once every other month and for special events, like Wonderful Wednesday Dinners and Christmas in Davidson.
Kindergarten & First Grade: The Joy Choir requires no previous musical experience. Students will learn worship and music-reading basics, and will participate in worship at least once a month. They will also sing for special events and services, like Christmas in Davidson and Palm Sunday.
Grades 2 - 5: The Wesley Choir builds on previous choir basics, but prior participation is not required. Students will learn about leading worship as musicians, will continue to learn to read music, and will participate in worship at least once a month. They will also sing for special events and services, like Christmas in Davidson, Christmas Eve, and Palm Sunday.
Rehearsals: Mondays, 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.
Grades 1 - 2: The Rainbow Ringers is open to all new ringers and those with no prior music reading experience. This chime choir will teach rhythm and note-reading basics. They will ring in worship at least once every other month, including for special services, such as Christmas Eve and Palm Sunday.
Rehearsals: Mondays from 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.
Grades 3 - 5: The Praise Ringers is open to ringers with at least one year of ringing experience. This handbell choir will continue learning how to read music, how to be worship leaders through music, and improve their musicality as they play. They ring at least once a month, and also for special services, such as Christmas Eve and Palm Sunday.
