Youth Week 2025: Fun, Faith & Friendship
Get ready for an unforgettable week of events for DUMC Youth, July 20–26! From Whit's and Carowinds to pool parties, paintball, and a lock-in, there’s something for everyone. Join us for a week packed with fun, community, and connection. Check out the full schedule and details below!
Whit's Frozen Custard // July 20
Kick off Youth Week with a sweet treat at Whit’s Frozen Custard! Meet at the DUMC Chapel at 4:30 p.m. and we’ll walk over together. No registration needed—and the custard is on us! Pick-up is back at the Chapel at 6:00 p.m. Bring a friend and start the week off right!
Carowinds // July 21
We will meet at the entrance gate of Carowinds at 10 a.m. for drop-off and 3 p.m. for pick-up! If your youth needs transportation we will meet at the DUMC Main Parking Lot at 9 a.m. for drop-off and 4 p.m. for pick-up. Your youth will be responsible for purchasing their ticket ahead of time (or bringing their season pass if they have one) and bringing money for lunch while in the park.
Urban Air // July 22
We will meet at the entrance of Urban Air for drop-off at 6 p.m. and pick-up at 8 p.m. Transportation is not provided. Youth will be responsible for buying their ticket and having a waiver signed by a parent or guardian either ahead of time or upon arrival.
Pizza & Pool Party // July 23
We will be meeting at the Birkdale Neighborhood Pool at 5 p.m. and pick up will be at 7 p.m. Transportation is not provided. Food and drinks will be provided. Please have your youth bring a towel and any other things they may need!
Paintball & Airsoft // July 24
We will meet at Lake Norman Paintball & Airsoft at 10:30 a.m. If your youth needs transportation, we will meet in the DUMC Main Parking Lot at 9 a.m. and pick-up will be in the same spot at 1 p.m. Every youth is required by Lake Norman Paintball & Airsoft to have a waiver completed by either a parent or guardian.
Lock-In // July 25
Youth will be dropped off at Davidson UMC in the Youth Gathering Space on the second floor of the Seymour Building at 6 p.m. and will be picked up in the same spot at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. Please have your youth bring sleepover items they will need such as: Something to sleep on, pillow, toiletries, store bought snacks (nut-free), pajamas, change of clothes for Saturday morning, etc.
