Midweek Dinners at DUMC

Midweek Dinners are resuming, and we would love for you to join us. We will gather again on January 7, 2026 for weekly midweek dinners filled with food, fellowship, and activities for all ages.

Dinner is served from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for $5 per person or $20 per family.

Belonging Connect Event // January 18

Join us on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in the Fellowship Hall between the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services for a time to meet ministry leaders and explore ways to get connected at DUMC. This event is a simple way to discover places to belong and take your next step in our church community.

Primetimers // January 20

Primetimers will meet on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be served, and we are excited to welcome guest speaker Bud Younts for an Exploration Antarctica presentation. Bud will share highlights from his journey, including wildlife, landscapes, and the overall travel experience, offering a broader look at this remarkable part of the world. High School Beach Retreat // January 23 - 25

High school students are invited to a Beach Retreat at Holden Beach from January 23 to 25. The cost is $175 and includes lodging, meals, transportation, and group activities as we stay together in a beach house. This weekend is designed to offer time away to rest, build community, and grow in faith together. Click the button below to register.

Men's Ministry Breakfast // January 25

Join us on Sunday, January 25, at 8:00 a.m. for the Men’s Ministry Breakfast. Our guest speaker will be Tom Rochester, retired owner of Southeastern Architectural Systems. Tom will share how we can be passionate in our work while also helping others reach their full potential. Drawing from his faith and life experience, he will reflect on how encouragement and the words of Christ can truly make a difference in the world. All men are invited for a meaningful morning of food, fellowship, and conversation.

Discover DUMC // February 11

Join us on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for an evening designed to help you learn more about Davidson United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Church, and what membership at DUMC looks like. We’ll share dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by a time of learning beginning at 6:15 p.m. Childcare is available by request, and your registration includes dinner, so you do not need to register separately for Midweek that night. Cards and Cookies: Valentine's Family Potluck Brunch // February 8

Families with children from birth through 5th grade are invited to a sweet Valentine’s celebration on Sunday, February 8, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the Youth Multipurpose Room. This family friendly potluck brunch includes a hands on service project where children will make Valentine’s cards to share love and encouragement with our friends at The Pines, along with time to decorate and enjoy festive cookies. Chili cook off and BINGO FUN-raiser! // February 20

Calling all church and community members of every age. United Women in Faith invites you to a church wide Chili Cook Off and Bingo night on Friday, February 20 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Enter a chili for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights or come ready to eat, vote, and play Bingo. A $10 entry includes chili tasting, three voting tickets, and one Bingo board. Additional Bingo boards or voting tickets may be purchased for $5 each. Children under 3 are free. All proceeds support local agencies serving women, children, and youth in need.
