Easter at
Davidson UMC

You are invited to walk through Holy Week with us as we remember the final days of Jesus’ life and celebrate the hope of Easter morning. From palm branches to the cross to the empty tomb, this is a week that changes everything.

Whether Davidson UMC is your church home or you are visiting for the first time, we would love for you to join us.

  • March 29
    8:00 a.m. | Chapel
    9:30 & 11:00 a.m. | Sanctuary

Palm Sunday marks Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. As crowds waved palm branches and shouted “Hosanna,” they welcomed a King they did not yet fully understand.

Join us as we begin Holy Week in worship, remembering the joy, anticipation, and deeper meaning of this day. All three services will include music, prayer, and a message that prepares our hearts for the week ahead.

  • April 2 | 7:00 p.m. | Sanctuary

On Maundy Thursday, we remember the Last Supper, when Jesus shared bread and cup with His disciples and gave them a new commandment: love one another.

This meaningful evening service includes scripture, music, reflection, and Holy Communion as we remember Christ’s love and humility. The tone is quiet and reverent, inviting us to pause and enter more deeply into the story.

  • April 3 | 7:00 p.m. | Sanctuary

Good Friday is a solemn service as we remember the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.

Through scripture, music, and reflection, we sit with the weight of this sacred night. It is a powerful and moving time of worship that prepares us to fully experience the joy of Easter morning.

  • He is risen.

Easter is a celebration of hope, new life, and the power of resurrection. We invite you to come and worship with us as we proclaim the good news that love has the final word.
