Everyone is welcome here.

Since our inception in 1906, we have been a congregation that welcomes people regardless of gender, race, class, age, ability, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation. Additionally, everyone is invited to the communion table. We believe that God’s grace is a gift—freely given to each of us unconditionally.

What to expect.

  • Come as you are and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. At Davidson UMC, you’ll find people dressed in everything from more traditional Sunday attire to casual, everyday clothing. What matters most is that you feel welcomed, valued, and at home here.

  • Visitor, senior, and handicapped parking spaces are available in our main parking lot off Main Street. Those in need of an elevator should enter through the Church Office entrance. The elevator is located straight ahead, across from the restrooms, and provides access directly in front of an entrance to the Sanctuary.

  • Children are always welcome in worship! Sunday morning classes for children ages three through Grade 5 are available at 9:30 a.m. A staffed nursery for infants and toddlers is provided during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services.

  • Communion is served at every 8:00 a.m. service in the Chapel and on the first Sunday of the month during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services in the Sanctuary. Everyone is welcome at the communion table—whether members of DUMC or not, children and adults alike.

Sunday Shuttle Bus

Complimentary bus service is available to and from The Pines for the 9:30 a.m. service or Sunday School. No reservations are required—simply be at the lobby door by 9:00 a.m. A step stool is provided to assist with boarding and exiting the bus.
