Take a break in the middle of your week and join us for Midweek at Davidson UMC! Every Wednesday, enjoy dinner, fellowship, and activities for all ages. Whether you’re here for a great meal, time with friends, or opportunities to grow in faith, there’s something for everyone.
Dinner: Drop in anytime from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $5 per person or $20 maximum per family

DUMC Pumpkin Patch | October 1–31
The DUMC Pumpkin Patch is back! Pumpkins arrive Wednesday, September 30, and volunteers are invited to help unload beginning at 4:00 p.m. The patch will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Every pumpkin purchased supports the Youth Impact Fund, helping provide scholarships for youth trips and events, youth-led mission opportunities, and our summer youth mission trip. Come pick out your pumpkins, support DUMC Youth, and be part of a fall tradition that makes an impact in our community.

Pumpkin Trivia Night | October 9
Join us at the pumpkin patch at the Molly McKay House on Friday, October 9, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for trivia and hot dogs! Bring your friends for an evening of food, fun, and friendly competition.
Fall Craft & Pimento Cheese Sale | October 10
Join the United Women in Faith on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Davidson UMC Pumpkin Patch for the Fall Craft & Pimento Cheese Sale! Shop jewelry, cards, pottery, paintings, ornaments, décor, and more, and pick up some delicious pimento cheese. All proceeds support area agencies and organizations serving women, children, and youth in need.
Davidson Pride | October 11
Join us for Davidson Pride on Sunday, October 11, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the Town Green in Davidson! This community celebration supports and celebrates LGBTQ+ neighbors with music, entertainment, and opportunities to connect. Davidson UMC’s LGBTQ+ group is sponsoring a table, and volunteers are needed to help staff it and welcome visitors throughout the afternoon. Come celebrate, stop by our table, and help share DUMC’s spirit of welcome and inclusion. All are welcome, and no registration is required.
Third Grade Bible Presentation | October 18
Davidson UMC will present Bibles to third graders on Sunday, October 18, during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services in the Sanctuary. Families are invited to celebrate this meaningful milestone with a cupcake reception at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Great Day of Service | October 24
Join us on Saturday, October 24, for Davidson UMC’s church wide Day of Service! We’ll begin together with a devotion at 9:00 a.m., followed by service opportunities from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. with the Community Garden, Bags of Hope, Society of St. Andrew, campus beautification projects, and more. There will be opportunities for all ages and abilities to serve, connect, and make a difference. At 11:45 a.m., we’ll gather back together for lunch, fellowship, and a chance to share our experiences from the day. Click the link below to register so we can plan accordingly. DUMC Trunk or Treat | October 28
Trunk or Treat is Wednesday, October 28, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel parking lot. Bring the family for a safe, fun evening as church members and groups decorate car trunks and hand out candy. Kids are invited to wear costumes, enjoy games and activities, and connect with our church in a welcoming environment. This is a great outreach opportunity to meet new families. Trunk sign-ups will be available soon!
Sustainability Summit | November 4
The Creation Care ministries of DUMC, Davidson College Presbyterian Church, and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church invite you to “Food Waste and Soil Health: Feeding the People and the Land” on Wednesday, November 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the DCPC Congregation House, 218 Concord Road. Presenters, including DUMC’s Bruce Batman and Tresca McSwain, will share practical ways to reduce food waste, strengthen food security, and care for the soil through gardening, gleaning, and composting. Youth Fall Retreat | November 6-8
Middle and high school youth are invited to Camp Tekoa in Hendersonville November 6–8 for a weekend of worship, small groups, outdoor fun, and time to grow in faith and friendship. We’ll join youth from Williamson’s Chapel UMC and Mount Tabor UMC. Bus transportation is provided. The cost is $180 per youth. Sign up by Monday, November 2. Click the button below to register.
