Sophia grew up in Davidson and started attending DUMC when she was one years old. She was active in the choir and youth group at DUMC. Sophia attended Elon University and graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in human service studies and a minor in art. She has worked with children of all ages at summer camps such as Camp Tekoa and Camp Royall. Additionally, Sophia has worked in the USA and the U.K. supporting and caring for adults with disabilities. 

She has a two-year-old daughter and in her free time, Sophia enjoys spending time outside in nature, getting a coffee, going on adventures with friends, traveling, and arts and crafts.
