The Second Sunday of Easter 2023

Christ is risen! This week is the second Sunday of Easter and the journey continues. The scripture we will be reflecting on is from John and we hear about Thomas who wanted to see the marks on Jesus' hands and side before he believed. We hear about Jesus meeting the disciples and offering them peace. The scripture says, "he breathed on them and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Sprit.'" The passage will help us learn about how the disciples responded to the resurrection and give us a framework to think about our own response to the resurrection.
