Sunday Morning Options
Sunday School builds relationships with children as they learn that God and the people of their church love them. . . that God did and continues to do amazing things as they begin to live out the ways God teaches us to live.
8:00 & 11:00 a.m.
Children can attend worship in the Sanctuary with their family. Childcare is available for children ages 4 and younger.
Preschool and elementary children have 3 options at 9:30 a.m.:
1. Attend worship in the Sanctuary with their family.
2. During the school year, join an age/grade-level Sunday School class.
3. And elementary children can participate in a multi-aged, Montessori-style class, Godly Play.
Puppets are an excellent way to teach our children Biblical stories and concepts. Puppets attract and capture attention, convey feelings and emotions as well as facts, stimulate imagination, and convey human failings and ways to overcome them.
Our "On Bended Knee" Puppet Ministry Team typically performs once a month for children's Sunday morning classes at 9:30 a.m., enhancing Sunday School curriculum. This group has also performed for festivals, both in church and in surrounding communities, taking Bible stories to our neighbors, near and far.
