Mission:
As China does not allow traditional missionary work, Evergreen members serve in a variety of areas-medicine, agriculture, economic and community development, English teaching, and business consulting.
Service:
Curt is a doctor seeing patients in Yangqu County Hospital, a public hospital serving a rural county of 140,000 people, most of whom are peasant farmers. Edina’s primary work is that of a wife and mother of six children, ages 8-21; in addition, she works in various roles for Evergreen.
Financial Donation:
For the 2009 calendar year, DUMC has pledged $8,000.
