Welcome! You have come to the place where your direct involvement at DUMC can begin. As our mission statement says, "We will be the body of Christ in our community through worship, education, fellowship and service." This is our way of framing what it looks like for us to "be the church" in Davidson and the surrounding communities.
Life can get crazy sometimes, so why should you get involved at church? Beyond attending a Sunday worship service, being involved allows us to experience God's teaching and encouragement in relationships with one another, such as through participation in a small group. Involvement allows us to work together to serve God as the body of Christ, such as when we volunteer our time and/or talents. When we allow God to work through us, we tend to experience tremendous journey of spiritual growth.
